WHAT IS THE SYSTEM?

IF IT IS SO BAD, WHY DO PIANO TEACHERS CONTINUE TO USE IT?

AREN'T THERE MANY DIFFERENT TEACHING BOOKS ON THE MARKET? THEREFORE, AREN'T THERE MANY DIFFERENT SYSTEMS OF TEACHING AVAILABLE?

I HEARD SOME OF THIS TEACHERS STUDENTS, AND THEY REALLY PLAYED ! IT'S JUST THAT MY CHILD DIDN'T HAVE THE ABILITY.

I HAVE NO SENSE OF MUSIC, NO SENSE OF RHYTHM, I'M TONE DEAF!

YES! There are many different piano teaching books being sold in music stores across the country BUT with all the different books available the system is the same. BOOK I easy songs...BOOK II harder songs.....BOOK III harder songs... etc. When the songs get hard enough most students QUIT !

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TONE DEAFNESS!

EVERYBODY HAS A SENSE OF RHYTHM ! Check the next major league ball game on television and watch an enormous crowd of people CLAP AND CHANT IN RHYTHM "WE WANT A HIT".

If you want to judge a teaching system, judge it by it's failures, not by it's successes. GRANTED some people get through the system, but how about the MAJORITY of students who DID NOT SUCCEED?

If any teacher is using an outdated-faulty system it is because that teacher LEARNED USING THAT SYSTEM and IT WORKED for that teacher.

MOST BRIGHT and/or TALENTED PEOPLE will learn no matter what system is used!
