LFO Orchestra Vol.1
If you haven't figured out what LFO stands for, figure it out.
I won't tell. Obviously it's all me. Vol.1 being the beginning.
I actually created these in an effort to learn. I'd play the tapes
in my car and criticize myself. As time went by, I learned to
dislike what I had done more and more. I started out LOVING
everything I did. Now I'm out of that mode, thank goodness. VOLUME
I takes two cds. Only one cd is needed for MP3 files.
You be the judge!
My eternal thanks goes to my friends, (in alphabetic order)
Reid Carter, Ira Gorden, Lynn Milano, Rani Reeve, Furman Simmons,
Paul Smiles and others.
And of course, my wife Sue, my son-Bruce, and
my daughter Melissa for helping me to keep the faith.
All of the following are available as midi, printed music or recorded on
tape (and/or) CD. The cd sounds like the Mp3 files.
All of the midi files on this server are modified and somewhat
abbreviated. There is enough of each song (about 20 measures)
to give you a feel for what they are like.

This is a set of improvised tunes. Playing time is about an hour.
All of these songs are available in midi format. Hardware used
was Proteus I, Proteus II plus Roland's Sound Canvas.
The midi files
have been converted to (G)eneral (M)idi for your sound card.
All the mp3
files are recordings of the songs using my synths.
The cd sound is naturally better than the mp3 files

midi Fiddler On The Roof
(Opening Dance Scene From Show in it's entirety)
Disclaimer: Goodnight Farewell was the very first
midi I ever created. Yamaha Keyboard Only! No Computer. After
thirty years of not playing, writing, not even listening to
music, I was talked into trying by a VERY GOOD Friend... Paul
Smiles. Ironic:Electronics got me out of the music
business!
